Activity One
Heres Some Australian Slang!
1. cya this arvo – See you this afternoon.
Have you reviewed the Ausie Slang? Now it's time for you to use some technology to show off your new accents! The class will be divided into groups of three and each group will receive a camera. Record each person in the group saying a unique sentence with an Australian slang word in it. The teacher will put together all the clips and you will have an Australian slang video!

Lesson Plan: Cut each fact out on it’s own slip of paper and pass the slips out to the class. Have the students rotate throughout the class reading their fact to other students. This is a discussion activity so students must not only read the fact but say their opinion of the fact. Then, pass out the picture of the opera house to each student for him or her to color.
